Windows Platform Engineer -6 month contract - Mainly remote(1 day a week onsite) - Multiple locations

Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking a Windows Platform Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration, security patch management, and upgrades across Windows environments. This role requires strong scripting and automation skills to streamline processes and ensure secure, efficient platform operations.

Key Skills

• Experience in IT security, system administration, or similar role with a focus on security patch management and system upgrades


• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python) for patching and upgrade processes


• Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022 (install, configure, manage)


• Active Directory (install, configure, manage)


• Windows Networking Technologies (DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP)


• MS Failover Clustering (install, configure, manage)


• Infoblox experience


• VMWare experience


• SCCM (install, configure, manage) & SCOM
