AWS Data Platform Support Engineer - Telecom - Leading Global Consultancy - London - Inside IR35 - 6 Months - Hybrid (1-2 days onsite)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading global consultancy, for an AWS Data Platform Support Engineer to support large-scale AWS data environments within the telecom domain. This is a confirmed 6-month contract, hybrid in London, Inside IR35.

Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Support and troubleshoot AWS-based data platforms for a leading global consultancy.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage data pipelines: ingestion, parsing, enrichment, aggregation, schema management, reprocessing.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform incident management, monitoring, and root cause analysis.

  
  


• 
  

  Work with AWS services: Lambda, EC2, S3, Glue, MSK, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, SQS/SNS, Step Functions.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage AWS networking: VPC, DNS, route tables, security groups, NACLs, NAT, endpoints.

  
  


• 
  

  Support Glue Catalog, Athena, and basic RDS/Redshift.

  
  


• 
  

  Produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders.

  
  

Required Skills:

• 
  

  Proven experience supporting AWS data platforms (telecom or large-scale preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of data pipeline concepts.

  
  


• 
  

  Solid AWS service and IAM policy knowledge.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
