Primary Objective: Lead the end-to-end data strategy and design for migrating legacy BSS functions (Billing, CRM, Order Management) to a modern, scalable architecture.

Key Focus Areas: Data migration, cloud-native data modelling, and alignment with industry standards like TM Forum (SID/eTOM).

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture Strategy: Define the "To-Be" data architecture, moving from monolithic legacy databases to distributed, cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).


• Data Modelling: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for core BSS domains, including Customer, Product Catalogue, Billing, and Account data.


• Migration Orchestration: Strategise the migration of complex payment, unbilled, and account data from legacy billing systems to new platforms with zero data loss.


• Governance & Security: Establish data classification, access controls, and retention policies in compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR).


• Integration Design: Design real-time data streams and event-driven architectures (EDA) to bridge the gap between BSS and Operational Support Systems (OSS).

Technical Skills & Experience

• Telecom Domain: Deep expertise in BSS stacks such as Salesforce Industry Cloud, Oracle BRM, Amdocs, or Zuora.


• Data Technologies: Proficiency in both relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases, as well as cloud data warehouses.


• Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with cloud-native migration patterns (Rehosting, Refactoring, Re-platforming).


• Tools: Experience with data modelling tools (e.g., ERwin, Sparx EA) and integration platforms like Kafka or MuleSoft.


• Standards: Strong working knowledge of TM Forum frameworks.
