Azure Data Scientist

Seeking an experienced and innovative Data Scientist to join a global consultancy to successfully implement and run machine learning workloads on Azure.


The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the data, its limitations and meaning, including the investigation of data validity. They will be working closely with local and remote teams and therefore need to be highly communicative. Planning and creating a suitable working environment for data science workloads on Azure, as well as running data experiments and training predictive models. In addition, the Data Scientist will manage, optimise, and deploy machine learning models into production.


Applicants must have hands-on experience using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks as well as experience using advanced statistics and modelling techniques. Strong programming skills and proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning algorithms using Python or R, as well as solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases are a must. Must also be well organised and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Azure Data Scientist Associate Certification from Microsoft is a bonus.
